This hotel has four floors, a lift and stairs, but most importantly, there is a warm underground shelter with few entrances. If you need to use a shelter, you can do it straight from reception. It means you needn't go outside at all to be safe. If the building is damaged, you will have a way to escape by using the outside door. This area is safe in general, I'm a tiny woman, but I was walking on the streets by myself around midnight without fear. I've enjoyed fresh new towels, sleepers, gel/shampoo/soap/cotton buds, and cotton discs/ shower hat/ brush for clothes/set for shoos, etc. All of it was branded in nice one use packages. It was warm and cozy there.

The location on Podil is very good, many great cafe's and restaurants nearby. The place was cosy, stuff welcoming and warm. I stayed in very small simple room, but it was comfortable and practical.

A nice hotel in the historical Podil quarter of Kyiv. Very friendly staff. The room was quite small but comfy with a kettle pot and a small fridge. The continental breakfast with several options was fine. I advice the stay at this hotel for a couple of days/nights, if you'd like to feel the vibe of historic Podil and generally relax in the city center of Kyiv.
