Great location opposite Kielder Castle and lots of walks directly from the cottage. Dog friendly. Loads of birds and red squirrels in the garden. Cottage was excellent - luxurious, well-appointed, had everything we needed.

The underfloor heating, real fire, washer & dryer, dishwasher...everything really. The cottage is really beautiful and very nicely decorated, it is very clean but also very warm and welcoming. Very traditional looking but it has all the modern amenities you will need. Felt like you were in your own little world and a very cosy, comfy world at that.

Everything was exactly as described, the information sent by email beforehand was great to be able to locate how to get in and where to park. Superbly equipped with walking and biking trails on your doorstep and dark skies for looking at the stars. Thanks for an amazing home from home that was truly dog friendly ❤️
