I chose this hotel because of its relatively close proximity to the University of Kiel. The hotel is located on a busy road, but the thick cover of trees and bushes makes the place quiet and cozy. In the spring, birds sing in the morning, rabbits run around in the evening, and squirrels - almost at all hours. You can get to the hotel by taxi or by buses that leave from the train station.

Very, very friendly and helpful staff, reception/bar open 24 hours, excellent breakfast and wonderful winter garden to breakfast in, comfortable and clean rooms. It is like coming home.

Breakfast was good and the staff in the hotel were very helpful and very friendly. They went out of their way to help out. Excellent staff. The rooms were very clean.
