Faustin, the staff, was very helpful and provided me good information and a good tour with a tour guide over the Kivu lake. A beautiful place to stay. Good breakfast. The lake is on the other side of the street.

Faustin is a great host. He is the kindest person we've ever met! He helped us organise a hiking trip, put in contact with a local guide and gave good recommendations about the area. He made the difference in our stay at Spa Shallum. The place itself is ok, nice view on the lake, approximately 2km from the town centre. Breakfast was simple but very good.

Good location, spacious rooms. The real winner at this hotel is Faustine - he is an exceptional staff member the hotel is very lucky to have working for them. Without Faustine, our trip would not have been possible. He went above and beyond to help organise so much and upon arrival, our trip was seamless thanks to his hard work. He is an excellent communicator and has great knowledge to help guests. Spa facilities are fantastic and breakfast is lovely.
