The hostess was very kind. She made a beautiful breakfast spread, it was so lovely. Her hospitality is a 10 from me.

I have covered service, room.. Next. Location. It's not in the old city. It's like a 20min walk for me, about 2km, I think. I walk slowly lol. On the way, there's Flora Kafe. I went there as they have great eggplant salad and I have been hooked on that since I tried it in Samarkand. Didn't find it in Bukhara but it's quite common in Khiva. Restaurants in the old city have it too. Anyway, the one in Flora Kafe was pretty good. Next, there's a bakery called Nafis Cake on the way. I only visited it the last night in Khiva. Major regret coz their basque cheese cake was so good. Double the size and cheaper than that back home; not too sweet. Also lots of grocery stores along the way to get snacks and water. Not tourist prices. I also did a day trip to Urgench, taking the trolley bus which leaves near one of the entrances to the old city. Also about 20 minutes walk, pass all the aforementioned businesses. So, location was superb. WiFi was pretty good too. Definitely better than the Ucell line I got. 😛 All required paperwork, she did without fuss. She even messaged me to tell me I left my shampoo when I left. So sweet. Leaving, I kinda wished I could have stayed longer. Not because of Khiva but coz it was a really nice place to stay. I mean, some of the locals were really nice and I happened to stay with one of them. 😊 In terms of seriously nice and sincere people in countries I have ever been, this place will rank in the top 3 and definitely, the top in Central Asia. May God abundantly bless her and her family 😘 P/s Should have uploaded pics of the food in the previous one. Uploading them here. P/s I did separate night bookings as I was in Bukhara, and hadn't got my train ticket yet and wasn't sure when I would get to Khiva. I rescheduled my first night. So that worked out OK.

Sumptuous breakfast of bread, jam, butter, eggs and fruit. I was surprised to get breakfast as I didn't see that breakfast was included. She was very welcoming. The service was great. She upgraded me to twin room. Toilet was small but we managed. Thicker blanket would be better but I didn't ask lol 😁
