Amazing location between the gated walls of the old town (Itchan Kala). Everything is 5 minutes away which we absolutely loved. Since you’re in the heart of the old town, you feel like you’ve entered a fairytale where life runs differently. Some people prefer to see the typical life and choose to stay outside the walls, however, we absolutely loved being a bit away from the whole hustle and bustle of the city outside the walls with all the traffic and flashy lights. The house itself is extremely homey, decorated with all sorts of typical uzbek susanis and ceramics, as well as wood carvings. The walls are mud plastered which is how they used to build their homes in the past outside as well as inside. The rooms are however painted white. The house is extremely clean, linen was spotless, and the hosts were amazing. They greeted us tea and sweets and there began our journey of endless tea-drinking in Uzbekistan :) The dining area was absolutely beautiful and so cozy, we used to sit down there and plan our days since it was such a nice room. The breakfast is made specifically for you and was not a buffet, which I absolutely prefer. Everything was fresh and very tasty and more than plentiful. The apple jam was the absolute highlight. I would book it again in a heartbeat, the ease of being so close to all the main sights and still being in a quiet part of town is amazing. P.S. walking from the central station (vokzal) to Itchan Kala is around 30-35 minutes (even with heavy luggage), they have made a beautiful pedestrian alley right up until the weather gate, I would recommend that instead of paying for expensive taxis.

The location is perfect but we didn't know it was in the old town. We were able to order dinner for ourselves which was very convenient.

nice family and good breakfast. The location was superb. Many restaurants and sites close by. Would stay here again.
