“I cannot imagine to stay elsewhere in Khiva”

This is very special place. Close to the most attractive part of Ichan Qala but you do not have crowd of tourists. Host and his family are very helpful. Breakfast is fabulous. Kamolladin is organizing private tours which are adjusted to your needs. You feel a good spirit within hostel. Absolutely recommended.

Friendly and helpful owner Mr.Kamoladdin . Rather than saying a hotel ,it's a homestay with hotel amenities. The breakfast was a especially good. Very good location and rooms with view of minaret.

My friend and I had booked separate rooms for three nights. My room was spacious and large, and with a small balcony, so I actually enjoyed looking at the life (or even tourists) passing by from there with a cup of tea. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. There was a window which was again half covered with a grill. WHY?! The décor for both rooms and the common spaces were very home-like and gave a very pleasant and positive vibe. Location: The guesthouse was located inside the Ichan Q'ala and we could just walk around whenever we pleased. It was a really good experience because apart from the historical sights, we also got to see traditional-style life within the old city from very close quarters. I especially enjoyed seeing the local kids horsing around. Food: The food was really good and they gave us a complimentary lunch on the first day. I had asked for vegetarian food and had kind of given up hope of people understanding, but was pleasantly surprised to get something that worked for me and was tasty. The breakfast room was also very comfortable and nice, like sitting in a real Uzbek home. Service: I must say the service was very good. There was not much that I needed but they had everything and the fact that they all understood some English was a huge bonus. Everything was taken care of very smoothly. When my friend fell sick, they gave her medicines and hot water and everything else she wanted. The owner even drove us to the airport for whatever cash change we had left 😂😂.

Really loved this stay. Beautiful room, tastefully decorated. The view from the room on minarets. The breakfast feels like a small feast. Hosts super friendly. The location great, easy to find just straight from one of the gates. Quiet.
