A great hotel, in central location. The staff were amazingly helpful with organising trips for us. The breakfast was good and the room extremely clean. And two very cute kittens 🐱

We had an amazing stay in Khiva! The hotel and the hospitality were exceptional from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were told we had been upgraded which was a lovely surprise, and our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything we could need. The hotel's design, showcased some stunning Uzbek artwork, adding to its charm - I loved the beautiful dome by the entrance. The open courtyard was perfect for drinks and breakfast. As vegetarians we felt spoiled for choice at breakfast as it offered a great selection for us including Uzbek dishes and pastries. The staff were incredibly attentive, always greeting us and making sure we had everything we needed. One highlight was watching the sunset from the terrace, where we had stunning views of the city walls as the sun went down. This made us really appreciate being in a location just outside the city walls as we got to experience that. The hotel is just a short 10-minute walk to Ichan Kala and the local neighbourhood was friendly, with children being excited to greet us in English – very cute. On our departure day, the temperature was due to be very hot (above 100°F) and we had an overnight train to catch at 16.30. We spoke with Tim, and even though the hotel was fully booked, he kindly arranged a late check-out for us at an extra cost, which allowed us to freshen up before our train - a real lifesaver in the heat. When we checked out, Tim was so helpful when trying to organise a taxi to Khiva Train station, making sure we were picked up at the correct location and assisting with our luggage. It was another example of the exceptional hospitality we experienced throughout our stay. We highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding hospitality, excellent location, and overall wonderful experience.
