We had a wonderful stay at this hostel in Khajuraho! Raj was incredibly kind and welcoming—he truly made our experience unforgettable. He took us to local spots we would’ve never discovered on our own and helped us connect with the real spirit of the place. It felt like staying with a friend rather than just booking a room. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Khajuraho!

Staying at Karma Hostel was such a beautiful experience! The place itself is in a great location, super clean, and has a really nice vibe—but what truly made it unforgettable was Raj, the owner. I only stayed for two nights, but we connected instantly. Raj is one of the kindest, most generous people I’ve ever met. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable, supported, and at home. Whether it's helping with plans, giving great local tips, or just sharing good conversation, he's always there with a smile. I feel so lucky to have met him—this place wouldn’t be the same without him. I’d come back a thousand times just for the chance to stay here again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Raj!

Clean and spacious room and en-suite bathroom, 24/7 hot shower, good wifi, breakfast included, room rate was super affordable. It’s not on the main road, I had very good sleep. Have been traveling in India for a month and this was the best accommodation I’ve stayed! Not to mention Raj’s hospitality. The dinner with the family was lovely. About 15 minutes on foot to the western group of temples.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. We arrived early, and not only were we given an early check-in, but they also provided us with free breakfast on both days—an unexpected and much-appreciated gesture. For the price, the value for money is excellent. The rates are incredibly low, making it a great budget-friendly option.

The rooms are comfortable, clean and decent. The family owned accommodation is an easy, welcoming option a 10min stroll away from the Western temples. Staff were helpful and friendly. The chai is great and breakfast adequate. Good value.

Great price, rooms were clean, hot water!!!, great service (family ran! They’re the sweetest and most accommodating), location was great with it being midpoint between the two temple groups (and it being near food too, they also have food delivery service available). Overall recommend!!!
