My experience at Velifushi Maldives has been, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had in my life. From the very moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect for us. The level of service in this place is simply outstanding—everyone is extremely kind, welcoming, and genuinely cares about your experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the hotel itself is pure luxury. We truly felt like VIP guests throughout our entire stay. If anyone reading this review is thinking about visiting this hotel, I strongly encourage you to go without a second thought. You will not regret it—it will be, without a doubt, one of the best experiences of your life. A special thanks to Rahish, an incredibly kind waiter who clearly loves his job—10/10 service. Also, Malithi from the bar, another amazing person who is very friendly and passionate about what she does. We really hope to come back someday, because this has been the best experience we’ve had after traveling to more than 20 countries

A superb hotel. We treated ourselves to an over-ocean pool villa with the fully inclusive package for a special anniversary, and so glad we did. The room was stunning, spacious and had wonderful views. We snorkelled rather than dived this trip and whilst the coral is still bleached and recovering, the reef was close to our room, teeming with beautiful tropical fish, small/medium black and white tip reef sharks, octopus, and on our last night we even had a pod of dolphins cruise past at sunset. The main Vah restaurant buffet was outstanding, always fresh with plenty of variety. I'm mosquito-bait which often ruins a holiday and it was a joy that the island is completely mosquito-free. The service was outstanding, efficient and so friendly without being fawning or pushy. Our room attendant Kabir learnt our preferences and quietly met them, as did our regular waiter Husam, the management team, like Earnest, were always there to ensure all was well.

Beautiful, has all the amenities you need, whitest sand and bluest water i have ever seen! We first stayed in a beach bungalow which exceeded all of our expectations. We initially were given room 204 but then requested to move closer to the restaurant as we were traveling with a five month old baby. Our request was quickly and efficiently dealt with. Our room was cleaned immaculately by Ibrahim who was always smiling. We then requested a night in the overwater bungalow with the pool to experience it for one day and night. Again our requests were dealt with professionally and efficiently. The waiters in the restaurant were very good - when i was running late to lunch i found my usual drink waiting for me at the table. Finally chef Raaji was brilliant and was kind enough to make a bespoke dish on our last day as well as a beautiful seafood platter on request too. The buffet food was amazing, so varied and flavourful. Excellent house reef too! Just bring sea shoes. Would 100% recommend and return again.
