I arrived very late and they left clear instructions and notes to get in and to my room. They left little notes everywhere made me smile. It's was a great surprise that what people say they are going to do they do right! Not always the case nowadays. They went above and beyond foe me would stay here every time I go back. More hotels could learn from them. Perfect.

Our room, situated in a block behind the pub, was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. It had a nice view out the back. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Steve was brilliant when he found out that we were bringing our dog and I hadn't booked a dog friendly room. Altered our booking immediately . Very friendly . Was worried room wasn't going to be as nice as the one I originally booked but the woodland rooms were great and patio doors led straight out onto the grounds so easy access for our dog . The breakfast packages were great as we were just told we couldn't get breakfast in the pub. Croissants , jam, fruit , cereal and fresh juice and milk for the fridge .

The staff were amazing and accommodate me and the dogs really well, even extending our stay for us. Very hospitable and was more of an friend than staff
