The fine print
Please note for Holiday Home bookings, when booking for 7 or 8 people, all 5 bedrooms will be available to use. When booking for 5 or 6 people, 4 bedrooms will be available to use. When booking for 3 people or 4 people, 3 bedrooms will be available to use. When booking for 2 people or fewer, 2 bedrooms will be available to use. Keys are to be collected/deposited at the Crow Park Hotel two doors up the road from Berkekey House.Please note for Bed & breakfast bookings, Breakfast is served at the Crow Park Hotel, two doors away. During quieter times rooms may be moved in to equivalent rooms at the Crow Park Hotel.The £300 security deposit does not apply to bed & breakfast bookings.Keys are to be collected/deposited at the Crow Park Hotel two doors up the road from Berkekey House.This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Location was excellent, House was lovely, though a tad dated in some areas. Facilities were excellent, only thing missing according to my wife was a washing up scourer and plastic gloves! The view of Catbells and Derwentwater from the upstairs bedrooms was beautiful.

It is a big house with 5 bedrooms with an en-suite in 4 of them. The view from every room is breathtaking and the house is clean. The house is well located, with the town centre and walking trails just a walk away. We didn’t use our car for the week we stayed other than to get to the mountains we were climbing. It is a self catered accommodation in all its sense, so you will have to bring everything you need including kitchen stuff.

Really lovely flexible and friendly staff and a fantastic location right on the edge of the park with beautiful views.
