Warm greeting on arrival and follow up by Robert and Jocelyn. All very clean and tidy with some nice finishing touches. Everything you might need was provided , so we immediately felt welcome. Some lovely quirky furniture. Beds were big and very comfortable , and blackout blinds were very useful, although there was no residual light to bother us , just , as it happens , a clear sky and a very bright moon seen through the rooflight. Beautiful garden and seating/barbeque area and area and equipment for petanque. Wifi was very fast. Close to Guingamp and Lannion , and easy driving to surrounding areas. All in all , delighted with our stay.

La Ferme du Père is an absolute gem. It was part of a holiday where I travelled across Brittany by bike and train. I spent a week here and it was wonderful. The location, the accommodation and the garden of course create a bucolic setting I thought had long gone. The fresh baguette delivered every morning complemented perfectly the coffee, home made jam, and later in the day the excellent home made cider. In fact I can't think of anything I didn't like. Also, there are bikes, racquets and boules in the shed freely available to use.

Upon arrival we received a very warm welcome and immediately were shown the veg garden where we could help ourselves to salad and herbs. Once in the property we were given fresh bread, homemade jam and homemade cider which was a lovely thought and well received, in addition, fresh bread is delivered daily (free) and on Sunday we also received croissants. The property was spacious (we have two large dogs) and there was plenty of room for them to flop about. The kitchen was well equipped with high standard appliances (makes a lovely change from some of the dross we have encountered at other properties). The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable. Once outside the small enclosed gravel courtyard you were able to walk in the grassed area, but beware this is not enclosed and if you have a young dog (GSDxHunt) as I do then be advised to keep them on the lead! It was not a problem for me, but I would like other guests to be advised. There is a lovely riverside walk in the village - very safe for dogs. Overall a lovely stay, the host is very warm and generous, advising us of all attractions in the area, and we would look to stay here again.
