Excellent location for what we needed and a very clever security set up for guests - made our stay simple and seamless but it came at a cost. Idyllic surroundings and cute set up on arrival with excellent staff - but it was a little disappointing in delivering what it promised. The pub and restaurant were really lovely - when we stopped for a night cap on Christmas Eve it was a real shame that the fire wasn’t roaring - it was close to last orders admittedly.

The friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble.Tasteful decoration. Excellent food. It's not very often I get such a good vegetarian choice. Rooms were cosy, bed very comfortable, spotlessly clean.

We enjoyed ourselves from the moment we walked through the door, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. The room was very comfortable and roomier, top marks and the food was a high standard 👌

This place is very pleasing on the eye. the rooms are large and extremely comfortable. the staff were very attentive and the Food is absolutely amazing. great selection of food and drink. something here for everyone.

Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Room was big and clean. Restaurant food was delicious but a little expensive.

Good small independent hotel with good sized rooms, excellent food and close to tunnel/ferry ports. Surrounding area is very nice with plenty to explore. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Very clean, attractive bar and restaurant. Pleasant seating outside. Great range of food on the menu and loved the wine choices. Bathroom was lovely- looked like it had never been used.
