Loved the location. It's a small friendly boutique hotel. Staff were very helpful. Service was very good. Food lovely & well presented. We ate there 2 out of our 3 evening stay.

What a lovely hotel - very homely with lovely areas to relax. We had room 3 which was beautiful with a very comfortable bed. We only stayed over 1 night but had an evening meal which was very good. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff. The rooms, reception and dining areas were spotlessly clean and very well maintained.

We chose the hotel as a place to stop off on our way north but what a find! It is within easy access of the motorway and a few minutes out of Kendall and is a charming old house - very well appointed and dog friendly! The bedrooms we had were gorgeous - super comfy beds and beautiful furnishings, and we got a lovely welcome pack for the dog which was a very nice touch! We had dinner when we arrived which was superb - wonderfully cooked food and lots of it! We sat in the bar afterwards till late and just enjoyed the ambiance of the place. The staff were great - friendly and helpful - we'll definitely be back!
