Great location, clean and spacious bedrooms. Good facilities and a kitchen with everything you need for self-catering. A very short walk from town and some excellent bars right behind the property.

The yard at the back where you park isn’t on google maps, but the host provided clear instructions and I found it no problem. The kitchen was well equipped and there was tea/coffee/sugar provided - plus what looked like doggy treats - I didn’t try them! Dishwasher and washing machine were great and ample crockery and pans. Great to have a parking space and be able to walk into town and back. My room had plenty of space to unpack everything and hide the suitcase in the cupboard which was nice. The lounge was comfortable and the electric fire gave a good boost of heat when it was chillier. It was handy to have a front and back door key, so we could get in and out independently. Everything we needed to know was in the welcome book. The host got back to me when I phoned with a request. The location worked for us as I picked my friend up at Oxenholme Station, which is pretty close.
