I absolutely loved this cottage. It is a bit quirky but I liked that. Rebecca and Alec have put a lot of thought into the decoration, furnishing and equipment in the cottage and everything anyone could need is there. It is immaculately clean. I loved the wood-burner and the sauna was great after a long day of walking. There is good walking on the moors straight from the front door and Haworth and Oakworth are just a few minutes drive away. Very convenient for the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. The phone signal is weak here but there is excellent wi-fi so internet calling and messaging is no problem. I have stayed in dozens of cottages over the years and The Salt Pot is probably the best of them all. I definitely recommend for a solo traveller or a couple.

Lovely location and interesting quirky property and very well equipped and comfortable (subject to comment below). Very little contact with hosts, but what there was was very friendly. 2 really rich tasty eggs supplied as part of useful welcome pack (sadly as autumn no chance to obtain more).
