Great location but Stepansminda is a big village so it's close to anywhere. The owner was kind enough to offer me a bigger room for the price of the small one. She also did laundry for me free of charge. The house has a small terrace with a great view overlooking the Trinity Church and Mount Kazbegi.

Anano is a truly kind host. She gave me recommendations for the region and can arrange a taxi driver. The room was charming and very clean, with a beautiful view. I felt very comfortable. I was also able to leave my luggage with her on the day of departure.

The price/value was ok 👍🏿. The panorama from the balcony was stunning. Location was good, close to the 'centre' as far as Kazbegi has a centre, but that's not the hostels fault.
