The staff, Boris and Tamara, were so friendly, welcoming and professional and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They took our luggage for us, gave us welcome drinks and snacks, and in the evening lit a cozy fireplace in the lobby and offered us wine. The room is clean, comfortable, quiet and you can catch glimpses of Mt Kazbegi. Breakfast was also very good! Thank you for our conversations too, Boris and Tamara.

This review is a tad bit late (got caught up in settling back after the trip), even though it was easily one of the best places I have stayed in. Our stay at 1740 Boutique Hotel went way beyond our expectations. We woke up each morning to stunning views, the breakfast was carefully curated and Boris is so gracious and helpful. The decor is classic and creative. The location is exceptional giving us a clear view of the Kazbegi mountain range. When it was too cold and gloomy to step out we could hangout in the cozy restaurant and order delicious food. Boris was always around to provide information and there to help us with anything we needed.
