Simply amazing! Room in a castle, with castle like service, we felt like royals! And a superb breakfast in a dining hall. Plus the views, you are allowed to walk around the hotel yard and look down to the valley. Hotels own wine for sale in bottles, nice extra. This kind of a hotel must be experienced, worth all the money!

It was an extraordinary experience. The hotel is an authentic castle, with modern amenities. Very spacious room, great mattress and linens, amazing breakfast. Amazing views of the river, beautiful garden. Honestly, I will definitely come back. Totally worth the ride up there if you come from Stuttgart, Cologne or Frankfurt.

The Location is absolutely gorgeous. The castle and grounds are very well maintained, and we were able to explore and find all kinds of amazing little places behind random doors. Everything was fantastic from the soaps they use, to the sauna to the breakfast. Best breakfast I have ever eaten. They don’t have a lot of rooms so we were lucky to book one and we felt like royalty the whole time. The staff were super friendly and really made the experience unforgettable. I will recommend burg gutenfels to all my friends and family
