Hostel Overview

Located in the centre of the Blue Mountains, No.14 Lovel St is just 500 metres from Katoomba train station. All guests also have access to Blue Mountains Bag Storage service, just one minute's walk from Katoomba train station, to store bags before & after their stay, with discounted rates for extended storage.
An original Mountains guesthouse c1913, it features a cosy guest lounge, a lovely garden and a sunny terrace, perfect for a leisurely start to the day. No.14 Lovel St is a few minutes’ drive, or 30 minute walk, from Echo Point and the world-famous Three Sisters. Wentworth Falls is a 10-minute drive away.
No.14 Lovel St offers shared and private rooms with wooden floors, bed linen, towels and access to shared mixed bathroom facilities. It is a quiet place to relax and recharge after exploring all that the Blue Mountains has to offer.
The large communal kitchen is available for you to use to make your own meals. Teabags & instant coffee, milk (full/skim/soy), sugar, breakfast cereals (oats/cornflakes/muesli) are available all day, free of charge. “Lovely stay in the private room”

We booked the double room with a private room as better for us. Our room and bathroom were clean. Shared Kitchen and lounge area with other house guests. We used the cereal provided for breakfast. We parked out on the road which was is steep to park on. Walked into town. Good communication with owner

Everything about our 3 nights here was above and beyond our expectations! So clean and with lots of little attention to details, it's hard not to love. Bedding and towels are fresh and clean. The weather was very cold while we were there and the house was a nice warm respite with blankets, heaters in the showers, warmth blasting throughout the property. The communal rooms are large, spacious and well equipped. I could go on and on...
