Nigel at the front desk was exceptional; he kindly arranged luggage storage for us when we arrived early by train. By the time we checked in later that afternoon, our bags had already been delivered to our room. He also shared great insights regarding the hotel facilities and Blue Mountains attractions. While the hotel is a bit of a walk from the station (about 5 to 7 minutes) and the soundproofing is a little thin—I could hear neighbors talking at night—the property is very clean and well-maintained.

It was very close to the Scenic world, the staff were lovely, the fireplace and spa room was amazing, and the heritage aesthetic truly lives up to its name.

Lovely Queen sized bed. Cookies on arrival a welcoming touch. Location was good.. The games room kept us entertained in the evenings. 😊 View at breakfast amazing.

Fantastic heritage character of the whole building with amazing views over Katoomba and the blue mountains. Lovely staff with Alan playing the piano in the evening
