“A different perspective of the mighty Zambezi”

Nadja is a fantastic host, balancing sufficient oversight with leaving you to get on with what you want to do. Situated on a side-water to the main Zambezi river, the lodge balances gardens and land living with river adventures. We ended up staying an extra day because we enjoyed it so much. Went tiger fishing (catch and release) and caught 9 tigers, the largest 6kgs in weight - Sam our fishing guide was excellent, very knowledgeable about the local bush, the birdlife and the river itself. Every morning, the white browed robin serenaded us awake, followed by a morning chorus enough to drive any twitcher green with envy. We will be back!

Welcoming, beautiful views and the only place that we actually catched some tiervis. All the food at the restaurant was fresh and delicious. Sunset cruise and fishing cruises was informative and knowledgeable.

The staff was very friendly, professional and supportive. The guides on the boat trips were well trained and did everything to make the trips and angling unforgettable. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable with the most beautiful view. Dinner at the restaurant is highly recommended, especially the lamb shank and eland pie.

It was all wonderful .. From the moment I booked ... All the communication, the check in with a welcome drink, the little gift and welcome letter on our pillows... All the staff was so friendly and helpful... And our Early morning Bird Cruise was exceptional.. we were only 2 people, but they still did it with the Big Boat and a great guide... We had dinner and it was also very good... And an amazing Pinacolada with the most beautiful African Sunset!! Thank You Kubu and Kwena for an unforgettable experience!!
