If you want to stay in the heart of Kathmandu and not in the tourist-area of Thamel, this is the place to go. We love it. Our home away from home in Kathmandu, just 100 m from Durbar Square. A beautiful house and the staff is wonderful. 1000 thanks for the farewell-ceremony on the day we left. You are all wonderful, we love you. Thanks for all. We definitely will come back. It was a pleasure to stay in a wonderful old house. The owner and the staff are kind and always ready to help. The rooms are big and very nicely furnished, mine was really quiet. I travelled in winter time and I did not expect the heating (which was the case), it was not a problem for me but it is something to consider. Bathroom is simple. In other words, this hotel is for those who appreciate atmosphere over comfort of modern hotels. My room had no view but there is plenty of it from other sitting areas in the hotel - I really enjoyed seeing the temples and being immersed in the local atmosphere. The location is great, right round the corner from Durbar square and close to good dining options and shops. ONe can also eat righ in the hotel restaurant, I enjoyed the food.

Clean aesthetic room in the historical center of the city. Cosy hotel, nice standard breakfast, fully recommend this place to stay, you will like it I promise ❤ Special thanks to the polite and attentive hotel staff

Perfect location, just around the corner from DurbarSquare. Beautiful traditional hotel. Food there was excellent, best we had in Nepal! Staff were so very helpful & friendly.
