We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Tibet. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every aspect. It was exceptionally clean, and the overall hygiene standards were impressive—not only in the rooms but even on the balcony, which was spotless. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, making us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The restaurant was also outstanding, offering both high-quality food and a very pleasant dining experience. The décor of the hotel is beautifully authentic and adds a unique charm to the overall atmosphere. Staying here also helped ease our initial concerns about cleanliness in the city, as the hotel maintains a very high standard in this regard. In terms of facilities, we did not find a hairdryer in the room; however, we did not request one, so it may have been available upon request. Aside from that, everything was perfectly arranged and we experienced no issues at all. We would definitely recommend Hotel Tibet to anyone visiting Kathmandu and would be very happy to stay here again.

The hotel staff are so friendly, going above and beyond to accommodate your needs. The owner is Tibetan and a wonderful philanthropist. Food is delicious and at very reasonable prices. The hotel is 15min walk from Thamel in a quiet and safe location. 100m from the hotel is a lovely vegetarian café.
