We had a group of 16 stay at Hotel Barahi from Australia during September for my son's wedding. We all loved the hotel, it was modern, rooms were a good size, the breakfast area, pool area and bar on level 9 were just perfect for our group. I must mention the wonderful staff who all made our stay so enjoyable - so helpful and friendly, in particular all the Reception staff, Security, Room Attendants and the Restaurant/Bar staff - including Deviyani, Bini and Alisha! It was an easy walking distance to the local Thamel shopping area with plenty of restaurant/bar options and lots of local crafts to choose from. Hotel Barahi exceeded all our expectations, we all felt very safe even a few days after the unrest that had preceded our stay. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Nice views from the hotel and the pool. Close to Thamels shopping. Good breakfast. It was lovely coming here with nice facilities after being out in the mountains .

We stayed at the Barahi pre and post our Everest Base Camp trek. The hotel is in an excellent location, 5 minute walk to Thamel in one direction and 5 minute walk to other brand name shops in the other direction. The room was very comfortable, the shower was hot and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We couldn't fault our stay here and would definitely return here again.
