Two outstanding features of this accommodation are the proximity to the port, which was important to me due to the very early departure of the ferry, and Mr. Spyros, who waited for us at the bus station when we arrived, provided significant information about the island, beaches, restaurants... a very charming man who also showed significant knowledge of the country I come from. The accommodation itself is basic, everything you need for a short stay is there. For us, who spent the whole day on the beaches and sightseeing and usually went to a restaurant for dinner, it was ok, but there is not much space in the room, on the terrace, or even for a wardrobe if you spend more time in the room.

The quiet location just up a side street from the port was perfect - especially for an early morning ferry. We had a spacious terrace overlooking the gardens with their 4,000 year old minoan ruins/foundations next to a pretty church.
