Gorgeous hotel: old convent attached to medieval church beautifully converted inside: modern, clean, tasteful. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant and bar, free welcome drink, coffee machine in room. I stayed in small simple room as single guest but it was very comfortable and I felt safe as a lone woman. Turn right and a 10 minute walk to center of town. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shopping. Turn left onto river and a lovely walk past public gardens, park and swimming lake.

The staff kindly accommodated my request to check in early after a long flight. I was able to relax and have an online meeting in the spacious lounge while I waited. The hotel feels like a comfortable old Kassel institution, and hosted a dinner for about 30 guests with very good food.
