I live abroad but am of Greek decent. Went with my koumbara who also lives abroad. We decided to go somewhere nearby because we were both short on time. The hotels Breakfast is typical, breads jams yogurts toasts, choice of coffees. The rooms are as seen on the site. They are bungalows which are very simple and remind you of the simplicity of Greece. There is a beach across the street, but there are many other beaches close by. It is a very quiet part of the island if that is what you are desiring. As someone who has been to many places on the mainland and islands I have to say that everyone we came across with in Karystos was genuinely so nice and pleasant. The owner of the bungalows Vassillis was extremely hospitable and helpful with whatever we needed. It was actually so amazing to see that, that kind of hospitality and kindness still exists. Best part was his French bulldog Ivan, his little mascot!

We stayed here at a long term to built our large wind turbine project. We would like to thank the whole hotel team for the amazing support making our employees feeling comfortable after a long and hard working day. The owner and the team are extremly friendly people and helped us in high season with rooms for so many people even though requesed in short term. In the name of the whole company Vento ApS we thank you so much for the great cooperation and support over all those months!!! We willl definitely come back once we are again in the area of Karystos!!

The location was ideal, just a couple minutes away from the beach. The hotel was very quiet, clean and comfortable in every way. But the most important aspect of it all was the hotel owner, Vassilis, who was extremely welcoming and caring. All the stars go to him!
