The home was beautiful and thoughtfully designed with many touches from Paris. The owner, Satoko, has incredible taste when it comes to sourcing all her home items. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds were exceptionally comfortable and the heating in the house was second to none. You can also light the fireplace for a small fee. Location was also very close to the Main Street in Karuizawa. Everything is easily walkable. We would not hesitate to come back and stay here!

The location was perfect. It was about 5 minutes from the main street where all the unique shops were. The host was wonderful! She help me plan all or activities. She did all the research for our ski trip and made all the arrangements and bookings for us. She also recommended fantastic restaurants which we enjoyed very much. Our stay was definitely the highlight of our trip. The home was so conducive to family bonding.
