It's not in the centre of town but that's a plus for me, the 10min walk to the bus and 20min to Fira are no problem. I had a beautiful private cave room with bathroom and kitchenette that was kept immaculate by the cleaning staff. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were very friendly, helpful and committed to providing a wonderful stay for every guest.

The accommodation is everything you want and need, giving off all the Mamma Mia vibes. The people working there as well as the fellow travellers create such a nice atmosphere. The hostel dinner and breakfast each morning were our highlights!

The staff were very helpful. They arranged our transfer to the port, ordered the ATVs (which are dropped off and picked up at Caveland), and pointed us in the right direction for whatever we needed. The pool was lovely!

If you get the chance - stay in Caveland. I'm a solo female traveller aged 50, this was so beautiful, friendly, lightly communal yet as private as you want it to be. Utterly safe. Sweet walk 25 mins up to Fira. Beautiful place, the photos are accurate but the sense when you arrive is even better. Delightful breakfasts, 3 adorable friendly dog residents too :) So many solo travellers. Highly recommend catching the bus to Pyrgos. Stay in Caveland, you will fall in love.
