We spent 4 very pleasant nights at Skipper’s. The first thing we noticed was the cleanliness, Ann works very hard to keep the place absolutely spotless. Our 2nd floor, front facing room was very spacious and had a usable balcony. The room itself was well equipped with a full size fridge and a table/chairs for those who wish to dine in. There were also simple , thoughtful things, like a bottle opener and a wireless speaker. The location was perfect for us, 10 minutes to the beach, close to numerous restaurants, bars, shops etc. Whilst we were only one block away from the busy strip, there was no noise. Thanks to Ann, Matt and their charming pets’ for a very enjoyable stay. I recommend Skipper’s 100%.

Location excellent...couple of minutes walk to beach and liafs of choice of places to eat. Owners are amazingly friendly and their dogs and cat are to die for!!! Always hapoy to help and the room was spotless. The steak sandwich is highly recommended. Do not hesitate to book. Charging points in the room a nice touch.

Great location, close to the sea (we rented a motorbike), cleanliness, very stylish and polite hosts, and, of course, two dogs and a cat. Thank you so much for the nine nights we spent there.

Large apartment, x2 larger than other 2 apartments we rented later in Kata and Rawai areas. After Skipper’s Karon other 2 places were much worse despite of higher cost. Overall vibe and atmosphere. Owner Matt and his Family are absolutely awesome and warm people. 2 cute dogs. Australian cousin is top. We came late in the evening after check out and got free shower and towels. Thank you Matt for your kindness, and best luck.
