The Karae building complex is new and has nice landscaping. The cafe and plants are nice. The pedestrian -only street is great.

A great and beautiful place, like a hostel but luxurious! I stayed in the dorms of the hotel and it was really nice. The bed was wide and comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and the shower very pleasant! The staff was so kind and professional, there was a lounge space where you could stay until late, I could store my luggage after check-out, it's very close to Karatsu Station and walking distance to the beach and Karatsu Castle! For a very decent price too; would definitely stay again.

Nice, cozy and comfortable! There’s washing machine. Very nice environment. Can walk to most tourist spots in the city center. Very nice staffs.
