This very clean and comfortable cottage is situated in a very quiet, private and beautiful rural location making it ideal for a romantic getaway for couples. The friendly hosts also provided a complimentary bottle of wine which was greatly appreciated.

The idea of staying in a miners cottage, so it exceeded our expectation in comfort, ease of parking, the cottage was pristine clean and the bed very comfortable with lots of extra blankets for the colder weather. We liked being beside the well cared for anmals and sitting out watching beautiful sunsets. We also enjoyed the quirkiness of some of the decor, the kauri Benchtop, the display table and especially the photos on the walls.

Host was great and welcoming, we loved our stay at the cottage. Had a nice wine they provided and we bbq our dinner outside. We enjoyed chilling out the front looking at the sheep’s, chickens and the beautiful sunset. Bed was absolutely comfortable.This was a cosy and nice cottage that had all we needed, would definitely stay here again.
