I had the best sleep I’ve ever had at a hostel, the bed was comfortable and the hostel was very peaceful. The host was very warm and welcoming and also let me put my laundry on a long wash, for a small fee, which meant it was cleaned properly unlike other hostels in the area who will only allow a short cycle. This makes a big difference for dirty hiking clothes!

I stayed 4 weeks during the winter. The family are very hospitable and Janyl speaks fluent English. The hostel was always clean and warm, there is 24 hour hot water. Big lockers, bed curtains, big well equipped kitchen, big garden, washing machine.

A very good place to stay before and after hiking trip to the mountains. Neat and clean, a large dining area and a good functioning kitchen. Hot shower with good water pressure. Walkable distance to the town centre. Excellent hosts, they have readily info on mashrutka schedules and costs. The lady host helped book a guesthouse for me in Altyn Arashan Valley.

Janyl is really the nicest person, also, she was super helpful when I wanted to plan hikes. I felt at home when I was there ! If I come back to Kyrgyzstan I will definitely go to her place again.
