Emir Guest house was a perfect experience for us. The heart of the house are the owners, they truly made us feel at home with their kindness, warmth, humour and calmness. We have been on the road for 8 months and they are easily the best hosts we have had. They were beyond accommodating - helping us book the Ala Kul trek and even driving us to the start point at a discounted rate. We were cooked a delicious breakfast which included home grown vegetables and even a delicious dinner (even though this isn’t a service they offer, they’re just that kind!). The rooms were super clean and light and the wifi was speedy. We wish we had more time with them for they truly made our time in Karakol relaxing, fun and special.

We loved our stay. Our hosts immediately made us feel welcome - swapping stories over chai and homemade bread and jam. The room was very clean and comfortable. The guesthouse is also located in a quieter part of town which we appreciated and its only a short taxi ride to the centre. We highly recommend Emir Guesthouse for anyone considering a stay in Karakol.
