The location is excellent, right in the center of Kauai, making it easy to reach both the north and the south fairly quickly, with a supermarket and some restaurants nearby. The apartment is spacious and welcoming. The bed in the master bedroom is a bit uncomfortable because it’s very high—you almost have to climb up to get on it. There are two major downsides: The first is the lack of a dishwasher. The second is that the dining table is really very small, barely sufficient for 2 people. We were not able to use the laundry facilities because registration through an app is required, but with an e-sim the registration code never arrived. At the reception they sell a physical card for $10 plus a minimum $5 top-up, which is a bit expensive if the intention is just to do a single load of laundry.

The condominium had things available to us that I hadn’t even thought of (like beach chairs, dryer ball). I loved the well stocked kitchen as well.
