Quiet location, comfortable and good service. It was pouring with heavy rain while there and the staff were very helpful.

There was a lot of space and communal areas to enjoy indoors and outside which were comfortable and attractive. Sitting outside and listening to the birdsong in the canopy above was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have a sofa in our room. Also there was a good supply of hot water. The manager was very warm, friendly and would help with anything. Tranquilisle is a fairly short walk from Galaha ,the closest small town with access to public transport.

We celebrated Mica’s 32nd birthday at Tranquilisle and it was truly unforgettable. The staff, especially Sathees, went above and beyond to make it special, with beautiful flowers in the room, a lovely ambient setup, and even a birthday pudding at dinner. Such thoughtful attention to detail. The lodge itself is stunning — tastefully decorated, thoughtfully laid out, and incredibly peaceful. The atmosphere allowed us to fully connect with the beauty of the Kandy highlands. Highly recommended.
