It was very spacious and well kept, beautiful gardens and the house was beautiful. It was made as an oasis in Kandy ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Samharinda Villa in Kandy. The setting is absolutely beautiful, perched on a hill overlooking the river and lush tropical jungle. It felt incredibly peaceful and quiet, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Kandy, which is still just a short 10-minute tuk-tuk ride away. As a group of six, having the entire top floor to ourselves worked perfectly. The three rooms were all spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the large dining area made it easy for us to relax together. We especially loved spending time on the terrace, taking in the views in the morning and again in the evening—it was a real highlight of our stay. Everything throughout the villa was spotless and well cared for, and the breakfast each morning was delicious. The family who run the villa were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience feel even more special. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat in the hills just outside Kandy. We would absolutely recommend it, especially for families or small groups.
