The location was very smart - hidden from the main street and chaos/sound, yet near convenience stores, cafes and restaurants, so you can have everything you need nearby with walking distance. Very happy with the breakfast, the owner was super polite and kind to prepare more fruits for us (we asked) and, oh boy, did we have fruits - the whole platter of colourful vitamins! Enjoyed the feast very much <3

My highest recommendations to Old Town Hotel. Mr and Mrs. Palitha made my stay in Kandy the most awesome time despite af all the havoc and misery caused by the rageing cyclone Ditwah. We were all stock in the Hotel without electricity and water under terrible weather conditions but the darling couple managed to make delicious homemade dishes anyway using vegetables and fruits from their own garden. I felt completely spoiled by their wonderful humor, presence and generosity. They also provided me with extra blankets, pillows and towels, all fresh, clean, lovely and no extra charges. After the cyclone had subsided and roads where cleared Mr Palitha took me to Sigiriya and Polonaruwa in his minivan. . Palitha is very knowledge about Sri Lanka and also many other countries from where he has work experience . He is a fantastic story teller. We had so much fun! Thank you Mr & Mrs PaIitha! I look forward to staying in my room with the fantastic view the next time I come to Sri Lanka!!! Hopefully 😍🙏

Lovely large room with a balcony which was very clean. The staff were really friendly and we enjoyed chatting with the owner. Excellent breakfast and very good value for money. We would really recommend it.
