When I arrived there was a bad smell in my room so I was moved to another room. I asked to have an AC room, so they moved me to a room with AC, but then the AC unit was stuck on one setting so couldn’t use this. The room was dirty around the edges and needs updating. The bedding and pillows inside smelled. They need new pillows. The bed was not that comfortable. Fan was clunky and loud so kept me up at night. There is no bolt or lock on the door, only a button on the door jamb. As a solo female traveller, I like to have a secure lock on the door, so that meant I wasn’t that comfortable. No access to drinking water- asked staff at the top floor restaurant to fill my bottle up, not very convenient. Location is nice and quiet, but difficult to get to with one way system around the lake. The staff were very helpful with anything I needed. Room was spacious. Just think it is advertised and rated above what it is. There isn’t a nature trail near the hotel as I had thought from the name of the hotel.

Good location, 20min walk from the center. Great view from my room and the restaurant. Room well equipped, hot water with pressure (quite rare in Sri Lanka). Restaurant is very practical. As a solo female traveler, the support I had from Juan has been great. He made sure I had everything I need and offered support when needed.

Close to the city Center and tooth temple- 15 min walk, clean and quite . We will come again- fair price for all that they offer. Great breakfast ! Excellent service and staff.

Good location for a one night stay in Kandy. The view was nice - but not viewable from either of our rooms booked. Family friendly hotel.
