I stayed here right after the Kandy floods, when most places still had no water or power. I’d already walked through nearly a dozen hotels. Some had electricity, none had water, and this was the only place that had both. They asked me to wait about 15 minutes while they sorted out the water. Wasn't an issue at all. The lobby felt welcoming, and the gentleman at the front (I’m guessing the owner’s father) kept me entertained with a couple of his wartime stories. A charming man. Once everything was fixed, the lady who runs the place checked me in. She was very kind, very attentive, and showed me to my room. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was really clean, and I even had a window facing the garden. With water being almost impossible to find around the area at the time, you could see they really put in the effort for their guests. Grateful I found this place. Would definitely recommend.
