A very nice and lovely homestay ! The staff was super welcoming, it was quiet and the location around the lake was perfect. Only 10 min from the town. I really recommend this place and also their amazing breakfast. It was local, very yummy and huge :)

This guesthouse is conveniently located with less than 10 minutes walking to the city centre, the Temple of the Tooth and other points of interest. It has a lovely garden setting above the lake. We enjoyed a warm welcome with a cup of tea. The check-in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and helpful. They had reduced tickets for the daily Kandyan Dance performance with good seating on offer and could also arrange hiking tours in the Knuckles Forest Reserve with a professional guide.
