The staff here are really lovely! The room was great - lovely views across the residential valley. The in-house restaurant is superb. Lovely breakfast. Kaya residence offers a peaceful retreat from the chaos of Kandy city centre.

While Kaya Residence is a little out of the main centre (short tutktuk ride or you could walk but we never did), it felt like an oasis. Beautiful rooms, pool, art and antiques, friendly and helpful staff, and lovely breakfasts. We ate the curry and rice for 2 dinners - it was delicious.

A fabulous stay. The property is more beautiful than the photos show. The rooms are large, clean and extremely comfortable. The pool was beautiful, clean and refreshing. The common areas were great for relaxing. The breakfast was great. The best part, was the friendly,helpful and fun Kaya Residence team. This was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka. Thank you to the wonderful team at Kaya Residence. Exceptional!!
