The property is beautifully decorated, staff are incredibly friendly and they even upgraded our stay because it was our honeymoon! The hotel has incredible views over Kandy lake.

The property is amazing with a fantastic view of the lake and a nice walking distance from Kandy without being too close to the hustle and bustle of town. The first room we stayed in, inside the main house was oozing with old word charm, as is the rest of the house and grounds.

When asking for an extra bed for our daughter, we were told we needed to upgrade to a bigger room. We are happy we did because we got totally new room built into the hill under the old bungalow. We had our own deck and plunge pool with a perfect view of the lake and town of Kandy. The room was L-shaped, meaning that there was a separate lounge area. All very luxurious. The view from the hotel is amazing - and good location to walk to town also. Very nice breakfast (we chose the western, could also have Sri Lankan). Also good snack lunch and dinner. Super friendly and kind staff. Very good internet in the room.

Lovely view over Kandy lake. Old colonial residence which was the governors house. Good air conditioning and excellent shower. Bed comfortable. They are building a pool which will be a lovely addition.
