Central location, very clean and staff always helpful in providing advice, especially the doormen. Most had a good grasp of English which was great for a lazy traveller like me.

We had a very pleasant stay at Cafe Aroma Inn—a great find in the heart of Kandy. The location is excellent, right in the city centre, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Kandy’s main attractions, shops, and restaurants on foot. We stayed in the family room, which was spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of tea and coffee facilities and a fridge. The only downside was the lack of a balcony—it would have been lovely to sit out and enjoy the lively evening atmosphere of the city. The staff were friendly, hospitable, and happy to help with any questions or information we needed about the local area. We had breakfast at the on-site café, which was a real highlight—plentiful, fresh, and delicious, a great way to start the day before heading out to explore. Overall, Cafe Aroma Inn is a solid choice for those looking for affordable comfort in a central location. We’d definitely consider staying here again the next time we’re in Kandy.

Great location. Very central. First night we had 2x double rooms and second night a family room. Family room was a very good size and very clean.

Great spot close to the temple of the tooth, all restaurants and other amenities around. Nice place, good value for money. Would recommend.
