Although tucked away up a short but steep hill, this hotel turned out to be a little gem Staff were friendly and helpful, provided breakfast earlier than advised and made us sandwiches to take on the train Quirky feel, great view from the upstairs breakfast room Just a short drive from the station

Fabulous place to stay. Excellent location...walking distance into Kandy centre and a tuk tuk back. Blue pillars has a lovely relaxing feel to it and is very quiet...though be aware there is wildlife noise around at times which we didn't mind (no noise from the city centre). The staff were fantastic...very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we were offered tea and ginger biscuits which was lovely. The room was comfortable, clean and had great air con. Great breakfast...generous and varied. I would highly recommend staying here.
