A cozy hotel-type chalet with stunning views of the Swiss Alps. The room was warm and heated, very clean, the bed comfortable, the duvet fluffy, and the linen fresh—we truly felt at home. Very affordable for Swiss prices, a rare find that more people should experience. Breakfast was wonderful, with generous coffee amount, fresh delicious bread. Very close to Öschninensee Lake. Highly recommend, and we would love to stay here again!

Small room, but clean and comfortable. In-house restaurant with good pizza & breakfast. Very friendly staff. The location is perfect, the cable car to Oeschinensee is in walking distance.

This accommodation is great value for money (especially in Switzerland!). Located in quick walking distance to all the shops and supermarkets in the center of Kandersteg, as well as to the cablecars taking you to Oeschinensee and Allmenalp. Rooms are minimalistic, but seem to have been renovated recently, and are perfectly suited for staying a few nights. The breakfast is varied and delicious, with freshly-baked bread from the owner, good coffee and a variety of cheeses, cold cuts and jams.
