Spacious, comfortable room. Water and fresh towels daily. In a quiet lane off the main road. The outstanding thing about my stay was the owners. When I became ill they took me to hospital in their car, waited with me and then brought me back. And did it all again 4 days later for a follow up appointment. And drove me to the railway station the morning I checked out. They truly went above and beyond anything I expected. Fantastic!

The room is large and there are a lot of usable cupboards and there is a Spartan twin-seat with a table in between, a copy of which is also in front of the room, so you can sit outside. In the front there is only a small window next to the door, Daylight comes in though glass sliding doors in the back, where there is a porch with bars and a sink where you can wash your clothes. The beds are not rock hard, but still a bit too hard to sleep comfortably. The owner seems to be the only one to manage everything and he lives somewhere else so you can only turn to him during specific hours, also for checking in and out. He will do things like cleaning the room more often than he has planned, if you ask him. But he has so much to do that the porch in back never sees him and so dust clings to everything, especially the bars. Tying up the line I always carry to hang clothes to dry meant getting dirty hands and a dirty line. There is coffee and tea outside his office, but there is no breakfast. Fortunately there are some options in the main street. On our first morning we were surprised to see some Chinese sponge cake and bananas but that was the only day there was something extra. The hotel is in an alley. At the corner with the main street there is a joint with screaming loud music in the evening, but we couldn’t hear it in our room. Depending on how much you can take it is an okay place or a disappointment. We lean towards the latter.

Lovely friendly family run accommodation. Large very clean comfortable room and modern bathroom. Nice simple breakfast of eggs, toast, jam and coffee. Cheap group river and temple tour organised easily by hotel and was a great way to see a lot in a few hours (short stops and a welcome rough around the edges feel). Food at the night market was a stall to stall munchfest. Would definitely stay here again. Walkable to most sights. Thank you for a great stay. Kevin

Wonderful stay thanks to the incredibly helpful and kind staff. The employee taking care of the place even offered to drive us to the train station.
