We absolutely loved our stay at Kazueya as it was such a unique experience to stay in a traditional house. We loved having our own space that was bigger than a hotel room too! The local hotel reception staff were very friendly and helped us get checked in. Fantastic location in the centre of one of the Geisha districts of lovely Kanazawa.

Staff were friendly and welcoming when collecting the keys at the Pacific Hotel. The house, WOW. tucked away down a small road, it was secluded and peaceful. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need. I was a solo traveller but really wanted to experience staying in a traditional house, and this place exceeded my expectations and was totally worth the extravagance. Location was great if you want peaceful evenings, as most things in the area close by 6 pm (in Higashi Geisha District), however, there's a great bar (oriental brewing - try the yuzu beer) and a cool concept restaurant (Barrier) if you want something within 5 min walk in the evening. its easy to get a taxi or public transport to get around kanazawa, and i found kanazawa to be a very walkable city aswell.

We had such a great stay. The location was fantastic. The beds and sofa super comfy. But above all, the house and street felt like we'd stepped back in history, but with modern comforts. Can thoroughly recommend this apartment.
